The Gathering Place

This place makes it possible to get a huge group of people together for an intimate, enjoyable, and all around memorable experience. Hands down an amazing place to GATHER for a few days! Wish our stay was longer!

What a wonderful location this ended up being. The rooms and accommodations were very nice. Our family had a great time in the gym playing volleyball and basketball. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I had my wedding and reception here and the venue is absolutely beautiful! The Gathering Place is very spacious and had more than enough room for all the guests. The kitchen is large and spacious and there was lots of room for children to play. There was also plenty of space for traveling family. My husband and I were very happy and blessed to have been able to use this venue!

I just had the best time at The Gathering Place! It has so much space and has been restored in a way that highlights the buildings historic beauty and functionality. The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for large groups and the huge GYM was so fun! The private bedrooms with full bathrooms are also a major plus for overnight stays. I definitely look forward to my next visit!

"The Gathering Place" is a very fitting name for this venue. It has so much to offer!! We loved the oversized gym to play basketball and volleyball. We loved the commercial kitchen with two refrigerators. It came with plenty of tables and chairs to sit and feed our large gathering. The hosts were amazing!!!! My wife wants to use this for her family gathering. It's a great central location for northern Utah and St. George family. We were lucky to be there on a weekend when the town was having their 24th of July parade. It goes right past the this historic building. We also played ultimate frisbee and volleyball in the grass at the city park across the street. How cool to have a city park across the street! Two thumbs WAY up! 👍👍

Wow! Loved the historic charm of this beautiful building. Our family reunion group had so much fun playing in the big gym and the kitchen was perfect for feeding a large crowd. There’s even a nice park across the street for outdoor fun. Thank you for creating such a great space.

The Gathering Place was the perfect location to hold our wedding reception. The chapel was so beautiful, the only thing it needed for decoration was flowers! The location was also perfect, being only 30 min away from the Manti Temple. I wouldn’t have dreamed of having my reception anywhere else, and would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

This place is awesome! It is such a unique place. What a wonderful place to hold a family reunion or a large business training meeting. The bedrooms and bathrooms are great. The kitchen is wonderful. The gym is perfect for play, eating (lots of tables and chairs available), meeting or just gathering. It is right next to a fun community park. We had a great time there also with the kids eating watermelon and playing to their hearts content on the playground and in the grassy areas (frisbee, soccer etc.). This place can handle a very large crowd and your group will love being there.

The Gathering Place was just perfect for our event! Our son's baby blessing. Chapel for the blessing and a BIG gym for our two large families afterward. The luncheon was great with easy access to the kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms. We look forward to having more family get together's there in the future.

This place is a great venue! I attended a wedding here and it had everything we wanted. The Great hall was perfect for the wedding - it's restored in detail and beautiful with a couple of nice upgrades that the manager pointed out because I wouldn't have known them from the originals. The massive kitchen facilitated feeding the huge crowd that attended. The multiple bathrooms/dressing rooms are perfect for last minute preparations. I think that we didn't see everything this place has to offer because the renovation was still in-process but I liked everything I saw. Pretty sure it is mostly wheel chair accessable. I definitely recommend it for gatherings up to about 250 people or so.

Recently, our daughter's wedding was held at The Gathering Place. It was everything we wanted. It offered many spacious rooms for all our families. The chapel was large enough for the ceremony and the reception afterwards. It was nicely restored to its historic architectural character providing a unique traditionally beautiful environment. The kitchen was spacious providing enough room to cook and prepare food. The huge gym was amazing and favored by the kids as it offered plenty of space for the kids to run, play, and socialize. The manager was kind and gracious. Overall, our experience was great and we would love to use The Gathering Place again if needed.

This place is amazing! There is so much space to have multiple activities going on at the same time. It is cleaned well and taken care of very nicely. It is absolutely perfect for large gatherings, reunions or parties. I would highly recommend it.

This is an ideal venue for a family reunion: lots of varied space inside for many different activities, and located across the street from the city park. Fantastic! We enjoyed ourselves immensely!
